Missing Plane Found

A missing plane and dead pilot were found on Sunday. The plane that was found in Dickenson County, had left the Elizabethton Municipal Airport on Friday headed to Ashland, KY. The identity of the pilot has not been confirmed.

Jay Leno Leaves Tonight Show

Friday night was Jay Leno’s last night on the Tonight Show. Tonight Conan O’Brien will take over the program. He plans to bring most of the things from Late Night to the Tonight Show although he says he doesn’t want to just remake Late Night at an earlier time. The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien airs tonight at 11:35 on NBC.

GM Files for Bankruptcy

GM has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. It is part of their restructuring plan. In the end the United States government will take 60% of the company, Canada will take 12.5%, the United Auto Workers will get 17.5%, and unsecured bondholders will receive 10%. Today Pres. Obama said that many plants will be closed.
