Yankees Pitcher Crashes Plane

This week Yankee pitcher Cory Lidle and his instructor crashed their plan into a high rise condo building in New York. Amazingly, no one in the condo building was killed. The crash scared lots of New Yorkers due to its similarity to 9/11. On an interesting note,it has been discovered that Lidle started out in the Minor Leagues with our very own Elizabethton Twins.

North Korean Missle Tests

Earlier this week, North Korea went against United Nations sanctions and performed underground nuclear tests. Intelligence reports indicate the have also developed a long range missiles that can possibly reach the Western United States. This has North Korea's neighbors- China, Japan, and South Korea as well as the US.
